The half term holidays have seen various staff changes for us at Sandbach Music.  We have sadly said goodbye to Graham Proctor, our long serving percussion teacher and centre manager, as he has gone to Brazil to experience Samba music first hand!

We are very pleased to welcome Darren Gallacher as Graham’s replacement.  Darren has recently completed his masters at the RNCM and won the highly prestigious Gold Medal whilst there.  We know he will bring a high wealth of knowledge and experience to all his students at Sandbach and can’t wait for him to be with us from next week.

We also welcome Tom Hancock as our new Brass Tutor.  Tom is very well known in the local brass band community as he conducts the successful Audley Brass Band and also the Lions Junior Band, based in Sandbach.  As a player he has played with Roberts Bakery and helped out Fodens Band on a number of occasions.  Toms wealth of brass knowledge is second to none and we are sure all his students will love their lessons with him.

Finally we welcome Philip Rousiamanis who will be teaching Piano/Keyboard and Strings for us.  Philip is also a graduate of the RNCM and is a highly sort after performer and teacher.  He has helped us out covering illness over the past few weeks and everyone has spoken incredibly highly of him.  As well as his unbelievable knowledge of music he also has a great sense of humour.

For more information on any of these new tutors, and our other tutors, click on their profiles on the home page.  We are working hard to make sure that all biographies are up to date.  You are welcome to request a specific tutor when you make a booking and we will try our hardest, depending on availability, to put you with your chosen tutor.  If you do not have a preference we will always place you with the tutor who we think will meet your needs best.
